Fort Wayne Derby Girls Secure Two Victories in Front of a Sold Out Crowd
On Saturday, February 13, the Fort Wayne Derby Girls hosted their 2nd bout of the 2010 season at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum in front of a sold-out crowd. 1,800 fans came out to support the local non-profit sports organization, beating the previous record of 1,600 in January 2010. And to sweeten the league's success, both the SWAT Team and Bomb Squad beat their out-of-town rivals with commanding performances. SWAT Team defeated the Circle City Socialites from Indianapolis in a nail-biter bout 52 to 45, and the Bomb Squad trounced the Hammer City Rollergirls from Hamilton, ON 119 to 44.
Tickets are now on sale for all remaining bouts at the Coliseum.

All bouts held at the Coliseum are doubleheaders between the league's all-star (Bomb Squad) and junior varsity (SWAT) teams. All bouts held at Bell's feature competition between two pick up teams from within the Fort Wayne Derby Girls and all proceeds benefit the specified charity. Doors open at 5pm and tickets are $5.
